How to care for your cashmere blend?

1. Use the hand wash cycle on your machine to wash your cashmere, and then lay it out to dry flat on a towel. This means it won't lose its shape.

2. If your machine doesn't have a hand wash/gentle cycle, button up your cashmere inside a pillow case and put it on a cold wash.

3. Moths love cashmere, particularly any with moisture in the fibers, so to store it safely, make sure it is totally dry. Then fold up and store in zip-lock bags - hangers will stretch the wool.

4. For extra security, line the bags with anti-moth paper strips or anti-moth drawer liners.

5. All cashmere, no matter how good the quality, is prone to pilling. Keep a comb on hand to deal with bobbles: lay your cashmere flat, gently pass the knitwear comb over the fibers, and the pills will be picked up.

How do I return an item?

RETURN BY MAIL


Returns are accepted within 14 days of receiving your order on unworn items with original tags. Refunds will be issued in the form of which payment is received. 

*Please note: We do not refund shipping charges.

Contact us within 14 days of purchase delivery to submit a request for a Return Authorization number (RA) by emailing info@brownallan.us.  With your request, please include the item number and reason for return. Our operating hours are Monday- Friday 9am to 6pm EST.

Once your request has been received and processed, customer service will email your RA confirmation and shipping label to return your merchandise. 

Attach the shipping label to the box. Cover up any previous delivery addresses or barcodes on the box.
 
Drop your labeled return shipment at any UPS Store or UPS drop-off location.
 
We are unable to return merchandise obtained from a retailer other than brownallan.com. Please return the product to the original retailer.
 
*Please note that the return label is not valid through USPS for APO/FPO returns.

 

How do I track my order?

Once your order has been placed, you’ll receive a confirmation email the following business day and it will be shipped out within 48 hours of completion. Brown Allan orders will arrive within 10-14 business days.

To check the delivery status of your order, click on “Tracking number” in your shipment notification email. You’ll be taken to the following page where your order will appear in the middle column.

You can also receive text notifications on the shipping status of your order by entering your mobile number on the bottom right hand side of the page, and clicking “SIGN UP.”

 

How can I contact your couriers?

We are unable to provide you with the couriers' contact details due to data protection laws, but we can contact the courier on your behalf, in regards to a Brown Allan delivery. Unfortunately, if your query relates to a parcel from a retailer, we are unable to contact the courier for you- you will need to contact your retailer who can raise the query with our company, on your behalf.
